Professional engineer, Phoenix, Arizona. Born in Phoenix, Arizona on October 11, 1897, Roland Gail Baker attended University of Arizona and Massachusetts Institute of Technology. In 1933, he married Barbara Allen Clayton and they had four children. From 1921 to 1934 he worked with the Salt River Valley Water User's Association. As design engineer he had direct charge of the design and construction of several Arizona dams and power plants as well as canals and bridges. Af...
