This is a collection of Judge Charles F. Stafford, Jr.'s Certificates of Election for his judgeships. They include certificates for superior court, 1956-1969. There is a certificate that commissioned him a Kentucky Colonel in Sept. 1968 by Louie B. Nunn, the Governor. There are 3 certificates for judge Stafford's election to the Washington State Supreme Court for 1970-1982. The collection includes 3 photographs of Judge Stafford. Charles F. Stafford Jr. was born in Burlington, WA on 24 June 1918. Although his family was not wealthy, they lived securely in Anacortes, WA.
