Mimeograph copy of "An Historical Sketch of the Oneida Football Club of Boston 1862-1865," by Winthrop Saltonstall Scudder. The Oneida Club, the first organized football club in the U.S., was organized by Gerrit Smith Miller and some of his classmates at Epes Sargent Dixwell's Private Latin School in Boston. Clippings and miscellaneous papers are included.
