M.E. Thompson papers, 1946-1954.

The collection consists of papers of M.E. Thompson from 1946-1954. The papers includes thirty-three scrapbooks (1946-1948) of photographs and clippings which document Thompson's term as Georgia's acting governor; loose clippings (1946-1950) relating to his life in politics; and campaign speeches, platform, and press releases pertaining to Thompson's 1954 gubernational campaign.
