Beverly Griffith papers, 1832-1973 (bulk 1913-1973).

The collection consists of papers of Beverly Griffith from 1832-1973. The papers include telegrams and correspondence (1913-1969) relating to his career as a public relations executive, mainly at Eastern Airlines in New York; miscellaneous materials pertaining to the history of aviation; photographs; and a scrapbook (1957) commemorating fifty years in public relations and consisting of letters from Eastern Airlines employees. The papers also include family correspondence (1832-1969); printed programs; photographs; scrapbooks; and clippings relating primarily to his sister, Mary Griffith Dobbs, and other Griffith ancestors who were musicians, music educators, and founders of the Griffith School of Music in Atlanta, Georgia.
