Metropolitan Atlanta Boys' Clubs records, 1938-1990.

The collection consists of the papers of the Metropolitan Atlanta Boys' Club from 1938-1990. The papers include annual reports, minutes, audit reports, yearbooks, correspondence, subject files, speeches, a typescript and 26 interviews on tape. In addition to the organizational files of the Metropolitan Atlanta Boys' Clubs there are: audio tape interviews conducted by Frank Kentsmith with persons associated with the Clubs and a typescript for his History of the Metropolitan Atlanta Boys' Club; materials related to a Poetry and Writing Program established for the clubs by Marel Brown and to her receipt of an 11 Alive Community Service Award; materials documenting the activities of the Clubs' Cultural Committee and the Fine Arts exhibit they sponsored; and scrapbooks.
