Three letters written by J.D. Harwell in response to letters from J.E. Boos of Albany [New York]. Harwell writes of the Civil War actions of his unit (20th Alabama Infantry) at Vicksburg and Atlanta, the relationships between Civil War Veterans, and two Confederate veteran reunions which he attended.
