Transcribed tape-recorded interview conducted on October 19, 1994 by Karen M. Lamoree of the State Historical Society of Wisconsin with Elizabeth Liagin-Sobo, a reproductive freedom activist specializing in population demographics vis a vis U.S. foreign policy affecting Third World nations' family planning programs. Through her research (the Information Project for Africa), she discovered CIA documents which not only made the connection between lower population growth rates and "better" relations with the U.S., but also discussed how to achieve the lower rates through interference in foreign governments.
