Interview conducted by Dale Treleven of the Historical Society staff with Mrs. Jean Long, Dunn County, Wisconsin, concerning her experiences as a school teacher in Montana in the 1910's, a Wisconsin farm wife in the 1920's, and educational leader of first the Central Cooperative Wholesale then the Wisconsin Farmers Union, 1930's-1960's; with much information on the cooperative movement in Wisconsin, Farmers Union and other farm organization leaders, and the role of the Works Progress Administration. One folder contains publications used by Jean Long in the Farmers Union education program.
