Reminiscence [sound recording], 1971.

Colonel Hoar's recollections of his World War I service as a 19-year-old stretcher bearer in several major battles on the Western Front, and his World War II service with the Lands Division of the Army Corps of Engineers where he was instrumental in the controversial acquisition of farm land near Baraboo, Wis., for a munitions plant, the Badger Ordnance Works; recorded by Paul Kahn of the Historical Society staff.
