Thayer, secretary of the State Medical Society of Wisconsin, concerning medical quackery, including cancer cures, Royal Jelly, vitamins and food supplements, and the uranium tunnel in Lone Rock, Wisconsin. Also included are papers from the National Health Federation, and from conferences and congresses on quackery (1961-1973). The collection includes advertisements, clippings, mailings, photographs, correspondence, speech materials, and legal documents, as well as articles, reports, and press releases by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration and others.
