Documentary filmmaker Barbara Margolis' (1948- ) collection of newsreel film compiled for her documentary about the Cold War entitled "Are We Winning, Mommy? America and the Cold War" (1986). The footage consists principally of newsreel film from Paramount News and Universal Newsreel for the period 1942 through 1953. The processed portion of this collection is summarized above and described in the register. Additional accessions are described below.
