Photographs documenting store window displays in Madison, Wis., during World War I promoting food conservation programs. Included are images of displays about food substitution, food rationing, and victory gardens. Most of the displays were sponsored by the Dane County Council of Defense. Photographs were made by Photoart House, Madison, Wisconsin.
