Records of a non-profit corporation created in 1960 as the Historic Sites Foundation and authorized to receive and administer private funds for the benefit of the Wisconsin Historical Society and its programs, specifically for the promotion and operation of historic sites in Wisconsin. About 1999 the name was changed to the Circus World Museum Foundation reflecting the actual scope of its interest. The records include Board of Directors meeting minutes, correspondence, a Legislative Audit Bureau audit, and other financial and administrative files; contracts, agreements, and leases; annual reports and other reports; clippings; and files on buildings, collections, and parades. The tape recording is of a WHA program on the Circus World Museum and the photographs depict various scenes from Circus World parades and circuses.
