Family papers of Dr. G. Stanley Custer, a physician at the Marshfield Clinic (Marshfield, Wis.) and an avid amateur photographer. Included are an autobiography; diaries; recorded interviews with Dr. Custer, his wife Violet Custer, his brother Frank Custer, and other family members; correspondence; notes and other academic materials from Dr. Custer's education at the University of Wisconsin Medical School; papers relating to Dr. Custer's public life including his activities with choral music and the Presbyterian Church; financial records; histories of the Kohl/Krause and Ebert/Evert families; and photographs of family, high school reunions, medical conditions, and the 1989 dedication of the Marshfield City Hall.
