Photographs and negatives of state roads and bridges, road construction, and rural and urban street scapes in District 1. Included are views of Highway 51, 113, 151, and I-90 in Columbia, Dane, Green, Rock, and Sauk counties. Also included are examples of road signs, bridges, highway equipment, and aerial views of the interstate highway. A number of the images were produced under the auspices of the State HIghway Commission.
