Research files and reminiscences compiled by John "Wes" White about the Forest Service and the Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC) in the Nicolet National Forest in northeastern Wisconsin. White worked for the Forest Service most of his life and his research stresses the years 1934 to 1942.
