Papers of former FCC commissioner Kenneth A. Cox. Included are speeches and articles on FCC policy and the field of telecommunications, concurring and dissenting opinions on matters presented to the FCC, FCC inter-office memoranda, personal and professional correspondence, and subject files concerning FCC policy, particularly license renewal, the responsibility of networks to the public interest, and cable and community television. From March 1964 to November 1967, Cox served as Chairman of the Commission's advisory Committee for Land Mobile Radio Services, and a good portion of the subject files and opinions focus on this topic.
