Myrtle Moran Letters (1911, n.d.).

The collection consists of two letters written to Mrytle Moran of Broadwater County Montana. The first letter is from Mrs. Nellie Dixon, mother of aviator Cromwell Dixon dated November 22, 1911, thanking Moran for her letter regarding the death of Cromwell Dixon; the second letter from Lula Brown informs Moran of the death of Nellie Dixon. Myrtle Moran was born in Wisconsin in 1876 to Philander P. and Mary Tucker. She moved with her family to Montana sometime before 1880 settling in Jefferson, Mont. She married A.P. Moran and they lived in the Confederate Gulch area of Broadwater and later Meagher Counties. They had two children Arthur and Marie.
