Mr. X oral history interview, 1974.

Mr. X describes his hatred of basic training, the process of being sent to Vietnam, the holding center at Cam Ranh Bay, the hooches soldiers lived in, prostitution, drug use, the black market, his relations with the Vietnamese, war protesters and conscientious objectors, and his general evaluation of the war.
