Judith [collection] : an operatic spectacle / [by Bochsa]. [between 1840 and 1859?]

Four manuscript vocal parts (Joshua, Holofernes (2), Eliakim), in English. One of the parts for Holofernes is in blue and black ink; the other, more extensive, is in black ink with corrections in black ink and pencil, and contains a section in Spanish with English and French translations. The part for Eliakim, in black ink, contains several sections with corrections or blank paper glued over original music. All are marked "Property of Anna Bishop," who presumably starred in the title role of the American premiere, August 20, 1850, which Bochsa directed. Composer assigned on the authority of Odell, Annals of the New York stage. Four manuscript vocal parts (Joshua, Holofernes (2), Eliakim), in English.
