Arranged in three groups: I. Vocal scores (5). II. Promptbooks (6 in 10 vols.). III. Dialogue parts (83). The vocal scores are in French, published by Heugel (Paris, 1869?, pl. no. H. 3665). The promptbooks are in English and include two typescript books in three volumes each, one of which is unbound; one book consisting of the printed libretto cut and pasted into a lined ledger carrying the property stamp of Fred Solomon and a list of the cast for a performance at the Gaiety Theatre, Glasgow, Sept. 19, 1874; and three manuscript books, one of which bears the indication "property of H. Allen" and includes "The fair one with the blonde wig," an adaptation of Planche's "The fair one with the golden locks" (Cf. Bordman, American musical theatre). The dialogue parts are in English. Eighty parts are typescript, comprising four sets, three of which are unbound; and three manuscript parts carrying the indication "property of Harry Allen."
