91 ascetic homilies of St. Isaac of Syria in a Church Slavic version, translated from a Greek translation of the Syriac originals. Followed by Epistle to an "Elder", Simeon of Caesarea (as the ninety-second homily). Included are also: four texts on love, leaf 175a; leaf 204a, the forty-sixth Homily of Ephraem Syrus. Scribal inscription on leaf 174a, mainly of reflective content, but also stating the date of copying, 6863 (i.e. 1355). Ornamented initials.
