The vocal scores are in English. Ten were published by Boston Music Co. (Boston, c1913, pl. no. B.M. Co. 3527); seven were published by Hopwood & Crew (London, c1896), two of which are arranged as stage manager's guides; and 15 are by Ascherberg, Hopwood & Crew (London, c1896, pl. no. H. & C. Ltd. 3751), two of which are arranged as stage manager's guides. The piano score is a potpourri published by Bote & Bock (Berlin, n.d., pl. no. 16707). It includes instrumental cues and is labelled "director's score." The orchestra parts consist of five sets of manuscript parts, set two including some parts marked "correct version" and set six "original orchestration"; 16 printed parts (Bote & Bock) for an orchestration for the potpourri of selections, one conductor's part marked "original" and bearing the date Aug. 16, 1905; one manuscript of the overture marked "conductor"; and one package of incomplete and fragmentary parts for individual numbers contained in a folder. The vocal parts are manuscript in German. The chorus parts are holographs, in English. The promptbooks include one German manuscript book and 10 typescript books in English, two of which are unbound and two of which are marked "correct version." The dialogue parts are typescript, in English, in several sets.

The geisha was originally published by Asherberg, Hopwood & Crew Ltd., London, 1896. This copy was used by the Malvern Operatic Society for its production in the 1930s.
