The vocal scores are in German, published by Cranz (Hamburg, 1884?, pl. no. C. 26103). The orchestra part is manuscript. The vocal parts include six holograph parts, in German, containing handwritten English text, and two manuscript parts in English. The chorus parts consist of six manuscript English and six holograph German parts with superlinear English text. Several of the vocal and chorus parts carry performers' names. The promptbooks include nine typescript books in English, four of which are unbound, five books of German mimeoed manuscript, one of which is in three volumes; one book in two volumes of German manuscript; one German manuscript book in three volumes containing pages of a printed libretto pasted in; and three holograph books in German printed by Gustav Lewy, Wien, one of which is incomplete. The dialogue parts include two German manuscript, one English manuscript, and 61 typescript English parts comprising several sets. The lyrics are in German, published by Samisch & Goldmann (New York, 1885).
