Noted Indian photographer Curtis here writes to Mrs. Scherr, describing a program, apparently one showing his Indian photographs accompanied by a lecture and musical interlude. He sends along a brochure of the program [not present], hoping that interest will be developed to stage the program in other cities.

Edward Sheriff Curtis, American photographer and ethnologist, was born near Whitewater, WI, in 1868 and grew up in Seattle, WA.
