Choctaw Certificate Transfer, 1897.

A five page land certificate dated July 26, 1897, transferring title to 320 acres of land from an original Choctaw Indian land grant, number 588, which was made in compliance with terms in the treaty of Dancing Rabbit Creek, September 1830. Title to the land in Covington County, Mississippi, was deeded to five individuals and recorded by the chancery clerk in that county.
