Translation from Greek of Klimax tou paradeisou by St. John Climacus, complete. Leaf 1b, brief " monk's prayer"; leaf 7a, abbreviated life of St. John Climacus by Daniel of Raithu; leaf 14a, the text of the "Ladder" (all 30 homilies), with liturgical rubrics for reading during the Lenten period. The text ends with the homily to the shepherd ("Slovo k pastiru"). Information on distinguishing "the four Johns" is added on leaf 274b. On leaf 275a, colophon with the date of copying, 7038 i.e. 1530, scribe's signature and other information about the copying of the manuscript. A drawing of the ladder is on leaf 13b, serving as a frame for the table of contents.
