Panegyric collection with texts for selected days of the year by various church fathers: episodes from saints' lives, martyrdoms and miracles, homilies, encomia, teachings, remarks and interpretation of the Gospel of St. John. Included are also: Sermon on the Venerable Cross by Gregory Palamas, and Encomium to the Presentation of the Theotokos to the Temple by Clement of Ohrid. Two inscriptions, one on leaf 293a by Nikanor (cf. Ms. Hil. 160), and one on leaf 293b concerning instructions on how to make ink. Ornamented headings and initials.
