ALS, 1843 June 29 : Philadelphia, to Messrs. G & C Merriam.

The artist sends "some general suggestions for Webster's Dictionary," including some rearrangements of illustrations. He urges that an American flag be pictured and draws a 35 star flag. Fifteen other ink drawings illustrate his letter.
