Paul Jones [collection] : opera comique in three acts / written by H.B. Farnie ; composed by Robert Planquette. 1889.

Arranged in four groups: I. Vocal scores (36). II. Chorus parts (29). III. Promptbooks (11 in 12 vols.). IV. Dialogue parts (179). The vocal scores are in English. Thirty-five were published by White-Smith, Boston (1889, pl. no. 7875 + 144) and one by Hopwood & Crew, London (1889). Two copies of the White-Smith edition are arranged as stage manager's guides. The chorus parts are holographs, in English. The promptbooks include two mimeoed and nine typed books, all in English. One book is in two volumes, and several carry names of performers. One book is labelled "stage manager's guide" and contains pages of stage directions bound in. One book carries the indication "costume plot and cuts in dialogue -amateurs." The dialogue parts are typed or mimeoed and several carry names of performers and dates on covers. They are contained in nine sets and one group of miscellaneous parts. Set A is apparently complete.
