The vocal scores include 82 copies in German and English, published by White, Smith (Boston, c1885, pl. no. 5884), five of which are arranged as stage manager's guides; two copies in German by Aug. Cranz (Leipzig, 1884?, pl. no. C. 26020); and two copies in English by Saalfield (New York, c1885). The English translation for the White, Smith edition is by Louis Charles Elson. The vocal parts are holographs, in German. The chorus parts include 34 parts in German holograph and 6 parts in mimeoed manuscript English. The librettos include five holograph copies in German printed by Gustav Lewy (Wien, n. d.); one in English by White, Smith (Boston) in a translation by Elson and carrying the original Casino cast; and one printed libretto in German, by Gustav Lewy, Wien, which bears the signature of Leo Goldmark. Promptbooks include one German holograph, two English manuscript, one in three parts in English mimeo manuscript, and four typescript books in English, one of which carries a playbill for a performance by the Carleton Opera Co. which lists the cast. The dialogue parts include 12 English manuscript parts, 74 typescript parts in English, and one German manuscript part.
