Amilie, or, The love test [collection] : a grand romantic opera in three acts / the music composed by W.M. Rook ; the words by J.T. Haines. 18--?

The collection consists of three promptbooks in English. The first is ms., bound in three volumes, each volume consisting of one act. Bound in burlap, in ink with pencil and blue pencil annotations, it lists the cast for an 1838 performance. The second consists of the printed libretto by Jos. Robinson, Baltimore, bound with leaves of manuscript stage directions. The date 1845 and the signature of Anne Seguin appear on the first page. The cast of the Baltimore, 1839 performance is listed in the preliminaries, and "Park Theatre" appears handwritten at the head of the title page. The third book consists of the libretto by Robinson cut and pasted into a ledger containing manuscript stage directions. "Property of Anne SeĢguin, 154 West 21st St., New York City" appears on the cover and on the title page.
