James Eastman Shone Collection of Muiriana, 1831-1971.

The collection includes correspondence to and from John Muir, over 100 Muir sketches and drawings, many photographs of Muir, Galloway, Eastman, Hand, Shone, and Reid families. Additional personal papers, genealogical notes and items that had belonged to various family members, including Ann Gilrye (John Muir's mother), Sarah Muir Galloway (Muir's sister), and Anna Galloway Eastman (Muir's niece).
