La fille du régiment [collection] = La figlia del reggimento = Marie, oder Die Regiments-Tochter = The daughter of the regiment : opéra comique en deux actes / paroles de Bayard et Saint-Georges ; musique de Donizetti. 1840-1929.

Arranged in seven groups: I. Vocal scorers (33). II. Orchestra parts (32). III. Vocal parts (3). IV. Chorus parts (7). V. Librettos (2). VI. Promptbooks (5). VII. Dialogue parts (38). The vocal scores include an Italian edition by Schoenberger (Paris, 185-?), a German edition by Peters (Leipzig, 189-?), French/German editions by Schott (Mainz, 1840?) and Peters (Leipzig, 189-?), and English/Italian editions by Boosey (London, 187-?) and Novello (London, 192-?). The Novello copies include "Stage manager's guides" and "conductor's scores." The orchestra parts occur as two distinct manuscript sets, both of which include a "Vln. Primo-Leader" part. One set is stamped "Property of Peter Richings." The vocal and chorus parts are both manuscript and in German; some bear the stamp of E. Tietz. The published librettos include a German edition by S. Modés Verlag (Berlin, n.d.) and an English edition identified as the Boston Ideal Edition, which also lists the cast. The promptbooks include two German manuscripts labelled "Soufflier-Buch," identifying Carl Gollnick as the translator, one of which has the signature of W. Kreitz. The remaining promptbooks are in English, one typescript, the other two based on the libretto published in Philadelphia (Ledger Job Printing Office, 1867) which contain interleaved pages of stage directions. This edition was translated by Caroline M. Richings and identifies the Richings English Opera Co. Dialogue parts include two sets which are handwritten in German and three typed sets in English.
