Enclosing 4 notebook sketches of an 18th century house at the corner of Vernon Street and Shawmut Avenue, deserted "and subject to the risk of vandalism." With a copy of Whitehill's reply (1961 Dec. 6) hoping that the rehabilitation of the South End follows the pattern set in Bay Village.
