Hanslope Park in Buckinghamshire, a seat of Edward Watts, Esq. (designs), 1791-1792.

One of the "Red books" produced by the English landscape architect for his clients. The volume contains designs, in watercolor, for the grounds of the estate, with flaps illustrating before and after views of certain sites. The accompanying proposal explains his theories of landscape design, which favored a less formal and more natural and varied style than had been seen earlier. With a plan of the estate, seven drawings and one engraving.
