Interview with Mrs. Henry Moore, a retired schoolteacher, who shares her observations on the settlement and development of the Coastal Bend area of South Texas from 1900 to 1920. She also discusses her experiences as one of the first female students at Texas A & M University, as a rural schoolteacher, the rural social life, and President William Howard Taft's visit to La Quinta Ranch.
