Boston charity subscription list, 1808-1810.

A list of subscribers and amounts pledged to aid the poor in Boston during the winters of 1808, 1809, and 1810. A preface mentions the suspension of commerce under Jefferson's embargo as a cause of distress. The subscription efforts were overseen by Joseph May and George Higginson.
