Albert Sidney Britt (1908-1992) was a native of Nashville, Tennessee, and a graduate of the Virginia Military Institute. He was an instructor at Fort Leavenworth and a graduate of the British Staff College. He served in World War II in the European theater. He retired from the army with the rank of Colonel.
