A document reporting the convening of a Board of Survey at Columbus, Mississippi, to assess the value of the horses of the Brigadier General and his staff. The value of only one horse belonging to General Daniel Ruggles was reported. Members of the Board belonged to the 43rd Regiment of Mississippi Infantry.
