Miscellany of notarial, legal, and financial documents, concerning the affairs of the Medici family, with a large number of items covering various aspects of the management of the farms of Trespiano, Valdinievole, and Montecatini. Other documents deal with numerous Florentine small businesses, including goldsmiths, where the Medici were involved in some capacity (usually either as investors or as clients); dowry and inheritance matters pertaining to the Medici, the Guicciardini, the Quaratesi, and the Altoviti; contracts for the sale, purchase or rent of real property in Florence and nearby locations; and numerous miscellaneous accounts and credit records with individual counterparts as well as the Monte di pietà.
