Letters and receipts to James Mease, 1823.

Regarding the shipment of seeds from the Muséum to the Philadelphia Society for Promoting Agriculture and the Pennsylvania Horticultural Society. Professor André Thouin also writes a letter to Mease. Enclosed are two bills of lading for shipment aboard the Stranger commanded by Captain Fisher and two receipts signed by Robert K. Fisher.
