Kuniyoshi was an artist represented at the Weyhe Gallery. His letters to Carl Zigrosser concern exhibitions and sales, the progress of his work, news of his artist-wife Katherine Schmidt, the Artists Congress, his method, and news of the Woodstock artists' colony. He also taught at the Art Students League. After Kuniyoshi's death, Zigrosser helped his widow, Sara, in preparing a catalog of Kuniyoshi's prints.
