Carl Zigrosser was in regular contact with the Brooklyn Museum and its employees throughout his career. The earliest correspondence concerns loans and gifts from Zigrosser to the museum, usually acknowledged by Carl Schniewind, curator of Prints and Drawings. The later correspondence is with Una Johnson, Schniewind's successor, and centers around her work on Roualt, an exhibition of work by Emil Ganso, an exhibition of prints byPosada, the formation of the Print Council of America. Also included is a broadside from United American Artists protesting the Brooklyn Museum's cancellation of their 1939 exhibit "Fine Prints for Mass Production."
