Correspondence with Carl Zigrosser, 1938-1969.

Carl Zigrosser was in regular contact with the Baltimore Museum of Art throughout his career in art, most particularly with Adelyn Breeskin who served as print curator and Director there. Breeskin and Zigrosser write about print and printmakers, as well as exhibition juries. There is correspondence from James Breckinridge concerning an article on Käthe Kollwitz by Zigrosser for the Museum's bulletin, along with a copy of the text for that article. Other employees of the Baltimore Museum who have correspondence in this file are Leslie Cheek and Victor Carlson. Copies of Zigrosser's letters to "Harold" concerning John Marin are also in this file.
