Carl Zigrosser admired the work of artist Adja Yunkers. Yunker's letters to Carl Zigrosser mention current work, an exhibition in 1948 at the Art Alliance, his Guggenheim Fellowship, his projected polyptich of woodblock prints, his 1953 marriage to Dore Ashton, his second Guggenheim Fellowship and travelling in Europe, domestic news, his work at the Tamarind Lithography Workshop, and Zigrosser's retirement. Several of the letters are written by Dore Ashton, Included are exhibition brochures and photographs of Yunker's work.
