Biographical Note: Betty Adler was an author and lecturer. She was born in Havana in 1918 and came to Baltimore in 1933 as a student at Goucher College. Miss Adler was nationally known for her work on the Enoch Pratt Free Library's Mencken collection. She published "H.L.M.: The Mencken Bibliography" in 1961. She was the originator and editor of "Menckeniana," published by the Pratt Library in Baltimore (Md.). Miss Adler died in 1973. From the description of Betty Adler collection, 19...
