Miscellaneous manuscripts, 1833.

Two letters of Robert Carr dated 1833, one to Major James N. Barker of Kingsessing, Pa. and one to John Doughty, a Philadelphia publisher. These items concern the botanist William Bartram; Doughty was preparing a biography of Bartram, and the letter from Carr to Doughty contains a short biographical sketch of Bartram.
