Miscellaneous manuscripts, 1817-1840.

Consists of three items: one letter dated 2 December 1817 from B. Davids of London to Elisha Meyer of Staffordshire, introducing "Mr. Hagner of Philadelphia;" one stage fare ticket dated 19 April 1840 from Philadelphia to Pittsburgh, made out to "Mr. Hagner;" and one invitation to Hagner from J. C. Smith of The Model School, dated 22 June 1847, "to receive a visit from the President of the United States" (James K. Polk).
